I readily admit I wasn’t entirely sold on “Touch’s” premise when I first learned about it. It came across as gimmicky, and I was concerned the writers wouldn’t be able to successfully portray an autistic child with the level of respect deserved. However, the moment the show started, my concerns started to dissolve. I felt pulled in by the rich mosaic of imagery drenching my screen, and Jake’s (David Mazouz) soft opening monologue had me ready to invest an hour of my time on the show. #touch
